I’m Obsessed With Millie Bobby Brown’s New Bob — & Her Friendship With Noah Schnapp

Sometimes — usually — costars pretend to be BFFs while they’re promoting a TV show or movie but obviously aren’t real friends. Millie Bobby Brown and Noah Schnapp are different. Sure, they met on the set of Stranger Things but their friendship transcends any show promotion. It was obvious, and adorable, during an Instagram Live last week, in which Brown showed off her chic new haircut while Schnapp wore under-eye patches from his bestie’s beauty line, Florence by Mills.

To promote season 4 of Stranger Things, Brown has been giving pop star with her long blonde extensions with ’90s bangs. The whole look seemed fun but like a lot of work for the 18-year-old. That’s why we were excited to see her back to a short bob that feels fresh and youthful. It’s probable all her stylist did was remove her extensions and give her strands a trim but her hair looks soft, shiny and healthy.

It’s a style that looks great with no-makeup on Live with your best friend, as well as sleek and slicked-down for a red carpet. This look is one of her best yet, with hair by Marty Harper and makeup by Kelsey Deenihan Fisher.

If you missed Brown and Schnapp’s Instagram Live, you can thank TikTok for capturing a ton of the adorable conversation. Brown teaches Schnapp how to wear Florence by Mills’ Swimming Under the Eyes Gel Pads ($34 at Ulta Beauty). “No, you’ve got two on your face, Noah,” she says when he doubles up on the same eye. He wears them for the rest of the convo so you know he ended it wondering how his skin felt so soft and hydrated.

The cute convo continued when Schnapp tried to describe Brown’s style, saying “There’s a lot of Louis Vuitton in there. I would say you dress really elegantly and everything has a little bit of flair. There’s always something out there a little risky. I like it. I like your style.” We do, too.

The Iconic Marc Jacobs Daisy Perfume Got a Citrus Update & TikTok Is Freaking Out

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, STYLECASTER may receive an affiliate commission.

When Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume first came out in 2007, I was in college and it was a huge splurge for me at the time. But I wore it every day and it kicked off the type of scents I’d wear for years to come. 15 years later, and I’m seeing Gen Zers on TikTok talking about how much they love the scent. Everything — I mean everything — comes back around. But Daisy isn’t the only fragrance folks are excited about. Marc Jacobs Fragrances just released Daisy Ever So Fresh Eau de Parfum, a citrus-y version of the OG with gorgeous packaging.

Both Daisy and Daisy Ever So Fresh are fruity floral fragrances but the new one has key notes of mango, rose water and cashmere woods, as opposed to the strawberry, violet leaves and jasmine notes of Daisy. Fans of citrus scents like mango are going crazy for this scent, so much so that the 30mL size already sold out at Sephora. (We found it at Ulta Beauty, though.) When does that happen with fragrance?!

Over on TikTok, our girl Mikayla Nogueira posted about her love for the new scent. “I’ve never fallen in love with a perfume the way I fell in love with this,” she said. “When they announced this, I lost my shit. Not only do I collect every single Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume and they’re my favorite, but they have a mango one now!” Nogueira loves mango scents so this was right up her alley.

Other creators, like @anjuunnaa, saw it launched and ran right out to buy it. “If you wear this perfume, you are the baddest bitch who has ever walked this planet,” she says, while spritzing it on herself.

I’m officially back on my Marc Jacobs Daisy kick with Ever So Fresh because it feels both nostalgic and new at the same time. With all the TikTok buzz, it’s going to be hard to find soon so grab it while you can.

Sephora Now Carries Seriously Cute Press-On Nails That Look Like a Designer Mani

If you purchase an independently reviewed product or service through a link on our website, STYLECASTER may receive an affiliate commission.

My beauty routine is equal parts bougie and cheap; a little department store and a little drugstore. Open up my gym bag, and you’ll find a pack of Neutrogena makeup remover wipes under my $64 pumpkin seed brightening serum. The point I’m trying to make is that variety is the spice of my beauty life, and I make no apologies for it. One of my biggest gripes with beauty elitists is the assumption that press-on nails are somehow a step down from acrylics or a gel manicure.

I’m not sure how we came to that conclusion, but press-ons don’t deserve the bad wrap. For one, they save you time. Why sit in a salon chair for one to two hours when you can pop those babies on and walk out the door in minutes or less? They’re also a fraction of the price and pre-painted so you don’t have to worry about dry time and chipping. In fact, one of the most enduring red-carpet beauty secrets is the use of press-ons instead of full-on manis when a celeb wants to protect her nail beds or be able to switch her polish without the lag time.

So whether you’re low on cash, low on time, or simply want to take press-ons for a test-drive, we’ve curated a list that includes plenty of sleek designs, from minimal to the most extra. But before that, here are three quick tips for application:

Apply a base coat. Before gluing or sticking on your press-on nails, protect your nail beds by painting them with a strengthening base coat.

Remove moisture. We love our cuticle oils as much as the next person, but residue from oils, lotions, or creams can weaken the strength of nail adhesive. Before applying your press-ons, make sure your nail beds are dry and clean by wiping them with a nail polish remover (even if there isn’t polish there).

Remove them carefully. Whenever you decide it’s time to remove the press-ons, instead of pulling them off and potentially damaging your natural nails, soak them in warm water first to loosen the adhesive or apply oil along the cuticles to more easily slide them off.

Keke Palmer Just Said What We’re All Thinking About Adult Acne

Acne doesn’t just affect someone physically. It can cause a roller coaster of emotions. Just ask Keke Palmer. In a new video, the actor got real about still dealing with adult acne. Palmer always keeps it real but it’s still refreshing to see such a big star say what we’ve all been thinking: why is acne still so hard to treat?!

Earlier this week, Palmer jumped on Instagram to make a joking-but-not video pleading to doctors to develop a cure for adult acne. “Plastic surgeons are amazing,” she says. “All of these years and all of these inventions — boob jobs, above the muscle, under the muscle, tummy tuck, BBL, even implanted muscles — but you can’t figure out how to take the beautiful skin from my ass and put it on my face? I’m tired of it, I’m done with it, people out here with adult acne are struggling and you ain’t figured out that cure?”

Instagram PhotoSource: Instagram

This isn’t the first time Palmer has spoken out about her acne struggles. Back in December 2020, she revealed she was diagnosed with Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS).

“For some of you this may be TMI, but for me my platform has always been used for things much greater than me,” she wrote. “Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome has been attacking me from the inside out my entire life and I had no idea. My acne has been so bad that people in my field offered to pay for me to get it fixed. I tried EVERYTHING.”

Palmer says she was put on Accutane twice, ate well and got clear bloodwork. Doctors couldn’t see anything wrong. So, she took her health into her own hands and did her research, bringing what she found to a doctor and getting a proper diagnosis. But even after getting answers, dealing with the symptoms of PCOS, like acne, can be a continued struggle. But talking about it, like Palmer does, helps get rid of the stigma. Because all skin is good skin.
